Herax Food Solutions AB is a consulting company specializing in labeling matters for food products, dietary supplements, chemicals, cosmetics, and textiles in the Nordic countries. Our services also include assistance with implementing quality and food safety management systems. Our clients are located worldwide, with the common factor that they sell their products in the Nordic market. Herax Food Solutions currently employs 10 people and now needs additional reinforcement thanks to new customer agreements.

Job Description and Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a consultant on matters related to food regulations. You will assist Swedish and international clients with issues concerning food labeling requirements in the Nordic market. More specifically, you will work with:

• Reviewing packaging texts based on current legal requirements
• Registering products with Nordic authorities
• Investigation of nutrition and health claims
• Investigation of various added ingredients in foods
• Calculation of nutritional values
• Translations from English to Swedish
• Coordination of assignments internally and with clients
• Training in labeling

Background/Experience

You should have a university degree in natural sciences. We prefer that you have approximately 5 years of professional experience and knowledge of food legislation. Knowledge of dietary supplement labeling is a merit. Proficient user of the Office package. You communicate fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English. Finnish language skills are considered a merit.
